Steve was a beautiful man: body and soul. I am sure that my tears can not compare to the grief of his family / his dad/ Wes / all those who had the luck to know Steve. A great light went out in this dark world -- I am still numb and empty

I grew up with Steve's shows, and i loved his daring attitude.
Yes, he was crazy, and had a annoying voice, but i loved everything he did!
The world lost a great person, who loved animals and nature.
You will be truely missed Crocodile Hunter!
Rest In Peace

When i first heard about Steve it was through my grandson. He just loved his shows on TV. We watched them with him and thought he can't be real. In the beginning it was a comedy show for us, but not our grandson. To him he was IT. Crikey became a common term. It didn't take us long to realise that he was for real. Loved his shows and in turn loved him and his family. We don't talk about Steve Irwin...it's Steve to us. Just like he was one of our family or friends. We have all been to Australia Zoo. And have remarked at how wonderful a place it is.
We will all miss him, but not as much as his family will. Our thoughts are with them.

My heart goes out to all of you who were close to Steve. I wish there was some magical words that would make this easier, but unfortunately there just isn't any. I just wish you healing at this time, and I know that one day, when it's your time, you will once again re-unite with Steve and you'll get another chance to hold him, and speak to him again.
Take care of each other.

Greatest personality ever! The wee little ones know who the Crocodile Hunter is, and most them don't know who Elvis was.
It is a shock that will take the World some time to accept. I spent the afternoon watching clips of Steve Irwin. I will need to buy some of his films for the Great-Grandchild to see in the future. There is "no better teacher than the MAN himself".
The World Loves you, my young man. Here's you a kiss on the cheek, and a big thank-you for being the Man you are!

His death came way too soon, but I'm quite sure if you ask Steve Irwin which would be the best way to die then it would be during what he loved the most: working with wildlife.
So if you ask Steve Irwin whether he wants a bunch of flowers or money for wildlife then you know the answer. Donate money for his zoo/wildlife instead of flowers. All best wishes to his family and friend.

There are few things a person can say with certainty. I truly believe this man has lived a life in a small amount of time that was so true to his dream that most people may never match that passion in a life time. A man I never knew gave me pain with his passing. I hold a cup to you my good friend, a man I wish I could have met but at the same time feel like I know. Let your dream never die and may your memory spark the fire of passion to save animals that you have had all along.
