And bad people carry on living??We all love you Steve and each and every one of us round the world will fight to keep your dreams alive god bless x

I've been watching Steve Irwin on TV since I was 6 and I'm 16 now. That's 10 years and to have someone I really admired die is just heartbreaking. Right now I'm watching Bindi the Jungle Girl and it's almost like he's alive again. He was an amazing person. There won't be anyone like him ever.

Mrs. Irwin (Terri), Bindi, Bob, father Bob, and Steve's Australia Zoo family,
I have just now felt able to send these words of condolence to you after one year, as I still held hope that this terrible loss was all just a bad dream. As much as I know you loved Steve on the most personal level, please know that that remarkable man trancended time, space, location, and communication medium to become a friend to us all over the world. His genuine love of animals, and wildlife in particular, struck the kinship cord with me as a kindred soul. You and he took me to places that I will never be able to go, to interact with species that I've dreamed of seeing face to face. His passion became my passion. I can't fathom our world without him, yet am so grateful that his success and celebrity status insures that his life's dream and mission will continue long after all of us are gone. Watching how much he loved Terri, Bindi, and Bob...seeing what a great husband and father he was...endeared him to us even more. Of course, no one really knew the real man on his grumpy days or "human" days except for his family and loved ones. But knowing that he was "human" like all the rest of us, made us love him even more.
God bless you and keep you; may He wrap His loving arms around you, may He give you the peace that passes all understanding, and keep you safe in His mercy and grace. My deepest and most heartfelt sympathy to you all for your tremdous loss...and thank you for carrying on his mission.
There was and will always have been one true Crocodile Hunter.
