Steve was my hero. I miss seeing him on Animal Plant with new adventures every season. This morning my husband almost steped on an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake in our front yard while walking the dog. I asked him not to kill it and instead we used a rake and got it into a garbage can. We straped the lid on tight and relocated it to a near by State Forrest where we hope it will live a protected life in the ecosystem it belongs in. I reminded him that Steve died 4 years ago this month and I wanted to do this in honor of his memory! We save and respect any kind of wild life and Steve just reinforced our passion for all creatures! Rest in Peace Wildlife Warrior!

My family and I first met you on television. From that point on, you touched our lives and hearts. You taught us the importance of our wildlife and to respect and admire them no matter what fears we may have. Every living being on this planet has its place and is here for a reason. Thats what you taught us. Learn about your wildlife instead of fearing it. Treasure your wildlife instead of moving or destroying it. Its been 4 years nowsince you left us and yet you are still here. Everytime I see a snake or lizard, I am reminded of you. When I see a bird fly or hear a lion roar, I think of you. With the utmost heartfelt appreciation and respect for the man who loved all life, We salute you! God Bless and Keep you!

Even though I never met Steve, he was a part of my life and heart. This man could make anyone feel loved and want to Learn. I cannot explain how he touched my heart so, but it truly aches even after 4 years. What an amazing man and gifts he shared. What a heart of genuine Gold. I hope to meet this man in person some day in Heaven. I Love all of the Irwin family and wish I could bring him back.
