He was without doubt the greatest advocate of the wild life of animals, even thousands of kilometers away (Denmark) he was and still is a legend. Steve died the same way as he lived his life, close to the wild life. All respect and many condolences to his family. Sisse, Denmark

I'm so sad that the world lost such a wildlife advocate. He wasn't just a guy who had a television show, or the man we all knew and loved who said Crikey! He was a father, and a husband. We all will truly miss him. I give my condolences to the Irwin family, may god and the world help you get through this difficult time.

I think most had come to see Steve as invincible due to all the dangers he took and lived through, which contributed to the shock I and many others felt when he died. All is not bad, Steve has inspired millions and has undeniably done much for nature, the world and the future. Steve will be waiting for his family in the wonderful place we all go to when we die.
