Steve was the man.. the real life action figure.. we will all miss him.. and be sad for for the stories he did not show us... just know YOU LIVED MORE EACH DAY then most of us do in a life time

Steve was always such an inspirational figure to me. He had so much passion and love for the animals, it was infectious! I still can't beleive he is gone, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. The world has been blessed to have know Steve. He will always be in our hearts! Go Wildlife Warriors!!!

Still can't believe Steve is no longer with us in person but I know he is looking down on all us humans, his beloved family and all the world's animals, especially his cherished crocs.
I always wanted to meet Steve but was never able to but I intend to visit Australia Zoo very soon and pay my respects to the great man.
I remember the day I got home from school on that fateful day back in September 2006. I saw it on the news that Steve had died and all I could do was break down and burst into tears. That night, I cried myself to sleep thinking about how I never got to see him and how his family must be feeling.
I think that all that is left to say is RIP Steve mate and I know you're looking down and protecting us all.

Steve Irwin was my idol. He has been my inspiration since i was about 9. I used to love to watch him on The Crocodile Hunter and any other shows he was appearing on. On the day he sadly passed away, i couldn't stop crying, why did it have to happen to such a kind and loving man?
I pray for you and your family! You were one in a million. Hopefully I will meet you one day in heaven.

Steve Irwin was a great influence on me growing up. I faithfully and dutifully watched The Crocodile Hunter whenever it was on, even when it was a re-run. When I learned of Steve's death, I was riding the bus to school. It was so depressing for me that it ruined my whole day. I begged my family to allow me to buy a plane ticket to attend the memorial service, even though it was a whole different continent. I am sincerely sorry for your loss, and I am also sorry for the lateness of my condolences.

From the first moment I saw Steve on tv I looked to him as my hero. He is the reason I want to work with animals and why I have a passion to help them. When I heard of his death I was devistated.
