It's been close to a year since i heard about your death. i heard my mom telling my sisters while i was still in bed and i woke up and thought it was all a dream. then i turned on the tv and realized what i thought was a dream/ nightmare was true. I sat on my couch and cried... and as you can see i'm still looking at all the websites. you will NEVER be forgotten as long as there is an animal lover in the world. you can see by all that messages that were left that you were loved by many people and people all over the world. i'm thousands of miles away and i felt like i had personally known you my whole life. you were and always will be an inspiration to millions.

My hero
I was in Toronto that day I woke up to a message from my sister telling my steve Irwin had died I waited for the next part of the txt to come thinking it was some sort of a joke. I met some of My Austrailian friends that day I cryed so much we were all so upset one of the most beautiful inspiring people in the whole world taken from us.
Steve was incredible with animals managed to bring the only wild life show in the world to us that made children and adults alike understand animals not to fear them but to respect them he made us laugh at his excentric expressions ahh the laughs ill never forget it all my whole family was devistated steve will never be forgotton in our household or in anyones hearts he has managed to touch.
I wish his beautiful wife daughther and son and also his lovley dad all the happiness and wonderful memories every one is proud of steve as he was his wonderful family and friends god bless you all and i will always keep steve cricky its a big crock in my prayers

Even though it's been a while, I still feel the need to say something about the dead of Steve Irwin. I'm not in favour of watching a lot of tv, but when steve and terry came on, I was watching! Today I saw the first interview terry gave since steve died. I'm astonished of the courage she has and above all, the faith in her husband. The believe that his love for her helps her even know is heartwarming. I hope he will always be with you. I know he is someone I won't forget. He made to much of an impression on me. I just wish for terry and the children, that you will get what you need to be able to live with the loss of your dear husband and father.
You'll be in my prayers.
Lots of love

To Steve's "Croc Hunter" Family.
I have and always will be a fan of the one and only croc hunter. Steve was an interesting and exciting person to watch whose made me want to choose my career with animals. Terri you are a strong woman and you are blessed to have such wonderful children. Im very certain Bindi will continue the work of steve and it will be my children watching her do what she loves. Steve would be so proud of yous all.
Much sympathy and love Kathryn :)

I didn't realise what a truly amazing man he was until today. I am in the middle of watching a documentary about him (called Cricky what an adventure!) where people who were key in his life are speaking about him with such fondess, and sincere warmth.
What a tragic end to his life, but atlest he died doing something he was so obviously passionate about. He came a across to me as a selfless, charming, warm and witty family guy who if I had known more about when he was alive I would have been honoured to meet.
His wife and daughter are truly fortunate to have had him in their lives as short as that life was.

I'm so sorry for Steve's death. Mostly I mourn for his family who will have to go on without husband and father. Steve was a wonderful person. I saw him as someone humble and sincere and so very grateful for being able to do what he liked most. I hope that his children will continue the very fine work started by their father and grandfather. Rest in peace Steve.

to terri bindi and bob and the rest of your family it was very heartbreaking when i heard aboout steve. first for the love that terri would have to hold and never again be able to give to steve. also never to hold steve in your arms again. then i thought of the kids and that dad wouldnt be around to play with and have fun with. sorry i have waited so long but i feel that know you are all feeling stronger and can read them all and feel the love that we send out to you and your family. I dont know what i would do if my 2 girls lost there dad know because they love when he walks in the door after work its like good someone better to play with.my youngest is 2 weeks older then bob and to see how well the kids are doing is great. i hope in time you find more for yourself terri.
