I never liked animal shows - until Steve came along and shouted, "Crikey" - everytime he thought the situation was a bit dangerous.
I loved his shows becuase of the person he was - so bright, so adventuours, kind and funny.
Terri, Bindi and Bob - I know that you will always be surounded by the energy of Steve and his devouted love to all of you. G-d Bless. Joanne

Steve you are a legend mate,, a term that is used too often these days but one that suits you perfectly,, the world is going be a much more mundane place without your energy and enthusiasm in it and your death is a great loss not only to the world of men but also the world of animals as you were a true spokesman for all living things,, all my condolences to Terri and the family and to the rest of the world as you were loved by all. I can't believe that Steve is gone! I thought he was indestructible. Why do the good die young? My thoughts are with his family. A great loss for everyone and also the environment, which he was so passionate about. He'll be sadly missed.

my sincere apologies to terry and the kids. i have watched the show from the very start... and my 10 yr old daughter has since she was old enough. i am still in disbelief. he will be missed so much. you are very lucky terry, to have all those good memories of him though. we never know when we will loose our soulmates, i hope that your children and you can comfort each other and carry on his dreams with the zoo. god bless you in your dark days, and i hope your pain will eventually give you some inspiration to carry on. love from canada...carrie and carly comeau

I have been watching Steve Irwin's shows for many years now and became a great fan. He was a great character to watch as he was always full of enthusiasm and passion. Very few people in this world have the courage and determination to do what he did. Nevertheless his death was a complete shock to me. I think thats life afterall - its so unpredictable - one moment your are 'on' the next moment you are 'gone'. My deepest condolences and prayers to his family and the rest of his team.

And yes ofcourse 'CROC RULES'!

Steve Irwin is the reason I got into working with animals. I was very sick and depressed for a period of time in 2004 and I watched his shows every day and dreamed about going to all of the places he went to, and working and interacting with animals around the world. His enthusiasm and obvious love of life and the world around him inspired me to dedicate myself to working with animals for the rest of my life. My boyfriend and I planned on going to visit Australia Zoo on our honeymoon, and we still hope to do that, although now that visit will be a hard one to make. Thank you to Steve Irwin for everything he gave to the world and my condolences to his lovely family.

I can't begin to express how sad I am, how sorry I am for Terri, Bindi, Bob and family.
Steve was a fantastic bloke, whose enthusiasm and integrity made natural history appealing and available to all. Can't imagine that it is much comfort to the Irwin family, but thank God Steve went out doing what he loved. A true hero.
RIP Steve.
With love,

Steve allowed the world see reptiles as the amazing and beautiful animals that they are, not the monsters they had always been portrayed as. The world is a lesser place without him. Rest in peace Steve.

Steve....

I was so suprised to hear you died....
I watched youre show far away from australia...in holland....but sometimes it feld like i was running with you in the bush to get a snake or whatever catched your eyes...

Youre energy made me laugh and made me stronger with animals...i have snakes myself..and because of youre shows i know how to deal with them...so thank you, thank you so much for showing me the life of animals and nature...

You always went for the limit...and sometimes a animal got angry of you...but this...this is way beyond my imagenation...

I hope you rest in peace, and i wish all the best to youre wife and beautiful children.
