I miss Steve.I still watch his DFs in Animal Planet. I'm glad that they had included some of Steve's clip in Bindi's program. Someday, I'm going to visit Australia zoo. I hope that what steve had shown in his films would still make a difference for the wildlife preservation all over the world.

used 2 tell all me m8tes in the playground how it was my life ambition 2 go work there at australia zoo and do impressions of him 2 me m8tes. :(
still so hard to belive its happened. i find it amazing that even in out school the other side of the world we had a steve irwin day. all dressing like crockadile dundee and bringing in inflatable reptiles. really made alot of us feel better.

I learned about Steve Irwin for the first time after he passed away. I don't watch much TV and had never seen the crocodile hunter. I did, however, hear the news that he passed away and one of my close friends told me what a big fan she was of his show and what an amazing person he was. That night I got onto youtube.com to know more about him and just found myself awestruck at what a genuine and generous and kindhearted soul he was. You could tell this was the real deal...it came through in his shows so clearly. I started watching the crocodile hunter at 6PM everynight on Animal planet and looked forward to it every evening. I felt like I was with a friend, as strange as that may sound. He felt like a kindred spirit, someone I would love to be friends with. I know that millions of people around the world must feel that way about him, he was such a one of a kind soul - unique in our world. Such a pure heart.
I have always been scared of animals (I got bitten when I was young) and the only animal I am not frightened of is a cat. It feels horrible at this age to be so scared of animals and to admit that. The first time I stopped being scared was when I would watched the Crocodile hunter. Steve made me realize that animals are souls/spirits like us, with personalities and feelings and kindness and goodness and each animal is unique and different like human beings. I had spent so many yrs being scared I had never thought of animals in this way....all of sudden a little of my fear was gone. I recently bought Terri Irwin's book - and I just love her- she and Steve make me believe that destiny IS AT WORK -because it brought these two amazing souls together. I am so sorry for Terri's loss and espcially for Bindi and Bob - they got the best gift in the world (the most amazing dad) - my heart aches when I think they didn't get a chance to enjoy him much more fully. My prayers are that Steve's presence always surround you all and give you great comfort and protection. You all (Terri, Bindi and Bob) are doing such an amazingly wonderful thing in the world and I hope that you will know how many people love and appreciate and respect and admire and really care about you (even though they haven't met you). You are always yourselves, genuine and kindhearted souls. It amazes me at how much like wildlife the media is- very unpredictable. I hope you will always know that the unkindness and criticism that they give has no reflection on what people and normal human beings think. Good work speaks for itself and needs no justification or explanation - it does that all on its own. I wish you my very best wishes that only the most wonderful things find their way to you. My 6 year old has grown up loving steve and hating the fact that he is gone. my husband and i watched him as much as possible and truly admired him. the love he had for his family was what made him SO special. we love his wife, and his daughter bindi (one strong young lady that my daughter wishes she could meet) and Bob. bless your hearts. we miss him SO much!

I'm so sad that one of the greatest wild life icons is dead he was the best at first a long time ago when he first aired on animal planet i thought he was the wierdest but as i wacthed him he turned me into an animal activst with great pride in what i try to do for all of the animals but although i feel great in doing what i do i still get that feeling of sadness when i wacth his show everyday at 5 p.m

Steve Irwin was an absoloute inspiration to both me AND my twin sister Kristin. We loved his passion fo animals an began to follow in his footsteps. He died doing something he loved and that is the most inportant thing of all. We may have lost him but, we have managed to keep his memory, forever and always. I just wanted to say that Steve Irwin was one of my favorite people, and my greatest role model growing up, and at first I was so devastated because I thought that the world had lost its original wildlife warrior forever. But as time has passed, I have realized that Steve will never leave this earth. He will live on in the video footage and his television show, but most of all in the truly sensational things he has done for wildlife and in his children. Although it still hurts my heart a little every time I watch an episode of Croc Hunter, I know that his message is carried on this way, and will carry on through the generations. We will miss you mate, have a load of fun up there with Sui and all your old friends!!! :)

Steve was one in a million. I so enjoyed watching him on animal planet he was so full of life energy and enthusiasm. You could tell he truly loved all of the animals he was in contact with. It was like inviting someone you knew into your living room when he was on the television. He died doing what he loved nevertheless he died too young. I cannot even bring myself to watch him on animal planet. My heart goes out to his wife and children , his dad, and all of those who worked with him at the zoo. I am sure that his absence is felt every single day. I hope that he is watching down from heaven, and is proud of his wife and his little girl for carrying on with his work. May he rest in peace. He is one person that will never be forgotten.

TO terrie,bindi,bob,and the family and friends i would like to say that i think of steve every day as he was my her,i saved a seal last week at the coorong beach and it was a touch and go.It was a female who has just giving birth to a baby seal cub,i knew i had to act quick so i had to call gor help and they are both healthy and got released into the ocean yesterday.Again im so sorry about the loss of a wonderful man like steve.

I was to make me ready for my 3 month trip to Australia and i was happy to visit the Australia Zoo, than i heared this bad news and i couldn't belive it.The Australia Zoo which my hero made to the best place for animals and he wrapped from his dad Bob. The same what Steve said over his Dad that he was his Hero and Mentor the same was/is Steve for me. I thought on Terry, Bindi and Bob what he feels now?
Times gone but i didn't forget Steve, i been in the Australia Zoo and saw the Memorial Wall, readed what all the people wrote and felt. I couldn't stop my tears and i didn't want it. Spend a good and emotional time in Irwins Australia Zoo, but before leaving i buyed the DVD from his Memorial. He Changed our World to a better place, he opened the eyes of the people to do more for the animals and wildlife and this on his own style, i love it. I wish i can help or work for the Australia Zoo or The Wildlife Warriors, to help to make a better place and be a part of Steves dream of a better world of wildlife. True blue is now my favorite song and sometimes i will crying, because i never forgot Steve and he never will be forgotten.
I come with you Steve, i share with you and i come with you on your mission to save wildlife. You are my hero and my mentor.

I and my wife was watching Steve Irwin's program on Travel and Living. The program was filmed with the whole family, wife and two kids. I was in tears to see such a beautiful family loose such a wonderful person. Steve is the icon to conservation and there are millions of Indians who pray for you. Rest in Peace.
