I still miss Steve Irwin -- he was one of my heroes. I just recently visited the National Aquarium in Baltimore and it was hard to enjoy the stingrays. I will never look at them the same way. Thoughts and prayers for his family.

Steve Irwin was a one in a million, a gentleman, a caring and exciting man to witness. He was a fantastic pioneer in the world of animal awareness, respect and protection. He seemed to be such a happy man at his work, and from all that can be seen he was a great family man aswell. He was a real gem and will never be forgotten. God Bless

Dear Irwin Family,
I just want you to know that Steve Irwin meant a great deal to me and my 9 yr old son. His show couldn't come on soon enough, we would sit glued to our seats. When I heard about his tragic accident I cried for a whole week. I missed him so much I felt like I had lost my best friend. The memorial was beautiful. I saw it on TV and I'm not sure who cried harder me or his best friend. Bindi is a unique little girl. Very few kids could get up there and do what she did. I know I couldn't. I just want you to know how much my son and I loved him and will never forget him and hope his dreams lives on.

To the family,
My deepest sympathys go to you.
Steve truly was the face of australia, and coming from england at the age of 6, really made me look up to someone like steve, him being so passionate about his work, animals but most important, his family. I can see this family has steve all in them, Bindi will grow up to carry on her fathers work.
Thankyou so much for giving people someone so passionate to look up to.
Rip steve

We all have a purpose in life and, we really should live as though this could be our last day on earth. When you live your purpose, full of passion it moves people’s hearts, minds and, actions. Every time I think of the word passion Steve Irwin is first on my mind. Everyone has a date they are born and a date they will die. I will not try to figure out why Steve died when he did. Only God really knows that. But I will say what a great honour and privilege it was to be able to enjoy and be moved by Steve's passionate life. I thank God for his time here on earth and ask that you bless all his family and friends with total peace in there hearts! Amen
