I have just read the book through my tears and smiles. I would like to say how lucky the family is to have known such a wonderful husband, father and friend. I believe that Steve's time on this earth was the sart of something big for the rest of us. I only hope that he life long dreams are realised and exceeded. His enthusiam will be missed and I know Bindi and Robert will keep his spirit alive.

Steve Irwin was one of the most talented and gifted personalities to ever grace this planet. We have lost a wonderful mentor, teacher and humanitarian. No one will ever be able to teach us about animals the way he did and his legacy will live on. I don't think the world will ever come to terms with his loss, but i hope the good work that he did will never end, he is very sadly missed.

I am still a huge fan of the Irwin family. I still, after a year and a half, have a hard time beleiving that Steve is no longer with us here on earth. Terri, Bindi and Bob....you are the legacy that Steve has left the rest of the world. YOU were HIS world and he would be so proud that you are continuing his fight to conserve wildlife and to teach the rest of us that they (even the snakes) need to be loved. Keep up the good work and Terri...follow your heart! Don't let the media or the ignorant public dictate to you how to raise your children. You are an amazing person and mom! We need more moms like you!! My condolensces on the loss of the love of your life and my best wishes to you and the children that you continue to thrive in the environment that keeps you so close to Steve's memory.
Love to you all!!

Although steve was someone on tv or in magazines its like someone you knew personally has gone. I intend to visit his zoo and see his dream, my only regret is i havnt done it when steve was there. Even after this long your still missed and will never be forgotten. my thoughts though are with the irwin family left behind, i'm reading terri's book and it doesnt seem fair that these two people, who obviously were ment to be are now apart. You are in my prayers, families stick together when things are hard and thats what will get you through x. As for stevo, what can i say that hasnt already been felt by anyone who watched one of your shows? You are a legend, one of lifes unique and special people. RIP mate.

I think Steve Irwim was an amazing person. He just had a way with animals. His shows captured my attention from a young age. I was very upset to hear that he died as i would loved to have had a chance to meet him. In the future i aim to visit his wildlife park to pay my tributes. Thank you steve, your life was truely amazing and it was unfair that you have been taken away so early. you will never ever be forgotten!!

My 4-year old daughter Monty was crazy about Steve the first time she saw his movie. This was back shortly after he passed and my grandmother had just passed away in my arms some months before that, so at the time I was quite prone to tears, whether I wanted to cry or not. When Monty asked me why I was crying as we watched Steve (how can one NOT cry over his death?), she specifically asked me "You miss Nana Tangley?" (that was her question every time I cried), so I told he I was a bit sad because Steve was in Heaven. I explained a bit more, and every night since that time in the fall of 2006, my daughter has prayed for Steve. She has not missed his name, not even one time/night, nor said we could stop praying for him yet. When somebody can impact a young child so much because of all the good he's done, it's truly a gift. I feel so much for Steve's family, especially Terry. They are in our hearts and as well as the hearts of millions, I'm sure. Our love to them, and love and thanks forever to Steve. Some people shine - and Steve was one of the brightest. Our love, Monty and her Mom, Christine

We were in Australia 5 years ago and discovered Steve Irwin and his family through The Wiggles program, my sons are big fans but being in France, we don't have much informations and have missed this terrible news.
We would like to tell Mr Irwin's children that he was a great man, and still is in our heart and head; and wish courage to Mrs Irwin.

I read 'Steve and Me' in 6 hours....and I have a 4 year old running around!!! I lived in Wollongong, NSW after I married my Aussie husband and being so far away from home I had times I was terrribly upset. Watching Steve and hearing his voice made me feel better about being in Australia and having my son there.
I miss Steve, Terri I'm so sorry.

I just read "Steve and Me" what a lovely book, I could hardly put it down. I immediately rushed to Aamzon to see what else I could read about the Irwin family. Terri you may be the quiet one but you not the silent one. I loved every word of your story. I am terribly sad at the loss of Steve, not just for the animals but for the human race as well. He is a great inspiration to us all. I will miss him for years to come. You are all in my thoughts.
