I would just like to give my thoughts and prayers to Terry, Bindy, and little Bob and extended family. He will live on through his children and they will make him proud. I know somewhat of what your going through right now, i lost my father suddenly in November 2005. It seems right now too fresh for you but you have the two best parts of steve still with you and they are bindy and little bob, you will have days where it seems the crying will never end and that your heart is torn in two, but it will get better with time. As they say time heals all wounds, and in time you will be able to talk about the old times and you will smile again. I hope this reaches you personally as i think this will help you to hear that there are others out there who do know what your going through right now, god bless you and those beatiful children.

My heart breaks every minute at the thought of losing someone so special who contibuted so much to his family, friends, our land and the animals. His life served so much purpose and he spent every minute honouring those he loved. There are no words to express how the lose of steve and how it has affected the world and more so his loving family.
Steve had such a conection with his family and so much spirit in life i believe he will live on after this and help his family though the tough times they will be enduring.
What i have learnt is to love life for every minute you have and appreciate those around you the way steve did, not a minute of regret.. Live life like it was your last day. Steve will live on in the hearts and eyes of his children.
My heart goes out to Terri , Bindi and Little Bob. xx

Up until now, I am still very sad with Steve Irwin's demise. I would like to extend my deepest and sincerest sympathy to Terri, Bindi and Bob. He is a great loss to the wildlife conservation. He will be truly missed. He is loving husband, a good father, a dedicated son. He is so down to earth. There is only one Steve Irwin. The whole world is mourning for his loss. He is like the modern day Tarzan, in a different outfit. We will miss mate!!!

Dear Terri, Bindi, Bob, and the employees of Australia Zoo,

I'll never forget the first time I saw the Crocodile Hunter on Animal Planet. He was such a force of nature - so compelling to watch - had such a pure heart.

I am so deeply sorry for your loss - it was such a great one. I know it brings shallow peace to know he died doing what he loved - and I hope that you can take small solace in the outpouring of love and sadness from the world.

Please know that we loved him and he will be missed.

I have the utmost respect for the work you and he did, Terri, thank you.

To the Irwin family and friends: I am so sorry for your loss. He touched our lives in more ways then imaginable. My daughter Chelsey (7)has grown up watching the croc hunter. Actually Steve's movie was the very first one she went to see in a theatre. He will be sadly missed by our family. He was and still is a wildlife hero. Take care of your family and we hope someday to come and see his zoo and his legacy.

I send this message to Mrs. Irwin, the Irwin children, family and friends of Mr. Irwin.
I am so sorry for your loss and I wish all of the healing and light you need in your sad and sorrowful time. I caught a minute's worth of the Barbara Walters interview and was caught in the heartbreak of Mrs. Irwin and her children, crying right along with her. You will find a way to come to terms with it eventually and I wish you all nothing but the best. To Mrs. Irwin directly I say this...please do not be afraid to cry in front of your children. I felt the same way that you do, that no matter what life brought to me I had to be superhuman perfect in front of my children and only let them see me being strong. Now that they are young adult women and are on their own the one thing they thought I never did was cry and wished I had done so more in front of them as they were growing up. Then they would have known for sure that I was human role model they could look up to and not a superhuman role model who standards they could never aspire to. So I say to you from one mother to another...cry, cry, cry in front of your children and in between laugh and love as well, NO ONE will think less of you for it believe me. :)
