Enthusiastic, passionate, wild, invincible. This is what I think of when I hear the name Steve Irwin. Steve Irwin touched the hearts of us all. With his daily khaki uniform and crazy, larger-than-life personality and passion and enthusiasm for his family, wildlife and conservation he went from a normal animal-loving boy, to the internationally loved croc hunter, admired by millions of people throughout the world. His courage to be willing to encounter all kinds of dangerous animals face to face and his willingness to go to any lengths to save the environment and endangered wildlife made him a hero to so very many people. His movie with the wiggles, Wiggly Safari, made him extremely popular with children around the world. CRIKEY MATE! He did so much to try and make this world a better place and even though he didn’t save all endangered animals and didn’t stop global warming as he wanted to, he did make people want to help save all endangered animals and help conserve our precious earth. He and Terri had two wonderful children, Bob and Bindi, who will grow up and take over Australia Zoo. Little Bindi’s light has already started to shine, with her own show at Australia Zoo, her own television show in the making and of course her speech at Steve’s touching memorial at his own Crocoseum, where she bravely told millions of people around the world, how much her daddy meant to her. Even though Steve may not be here with us in body, he will always be with us in spirit. My condolences go out to Terri, Bindi, baby Bob, Bob Sr. and the rest of the Irwin family, you have millions of arms all over the world, reaching out to you in this time of grief. I hope that Steve’s dream for conservation will be continued throughout the world. Steve, you will be remembered by everyone throughout the world, old and young. You are my hero, Steve. CROCS RULE! A huge light has shut down .The darkness appears even more immencely harder and cruel .He did something in this world, where others either destroy the world actively, or where others passively watches by, as the homeplanet we live on is getting less and less a planet for human life! Trying to save animals is a huge step into saving the world .Fighting multi-international coorperations, that do their worst to inviroment and nature, is highly recommendable and heroic .Someone DOING something is outstanding! Steve did .And everytime I saw him, my heart was joyfull, because I knew he made a difference .Better make a dent, than nothing at all .He surely did a great dent .And for some how reason I just know Steve had a great spot in Gods heart .Even if I know he was more into buddisme .But believe me, God believes in Steve .And Steve will find his way back to this planet he was trying so eager to protect, and it will no longer be a fight for him, but in Gods Kingdome all Steves dreams will come true .I can only incourage his wife to study the Bible, and get to know what a wonderfull possibility there lies therein for her, and also hers and Steves children, to see him again .Because he is coming back .The Bible promises that .. I just know thats good to know .That someone so good a person is not lost forever .If anyone deserves a ticket back from death, it would be Steve .I pay my respet to the man, that I wish we all was like! I wish that his wife Terri, and his children, and all at the Australian zoo, that have lost a great and beloved friend and soulmate, will find infinite consolation and incouragement from knowing Steve will be back!
Sincerly yours Tom

Dear Terri,
I am so sorry... It has been weeks and it's still hard for me to believe, so I cannot begin to imagine what you are going through.
Please always remember that God is with you. I don't know why this tragedy happened, but He loves you and He loves Steve and your family. Draw strength from Him.
I had a very stressful time in my life when my child was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She's fine now, but it was a very terrifying experience at the time. I gave it all to God...I could not handle it alone. The most amazing thing happened. Even though I was still terrified, I felt God's presence as never before in my life. I could actually feel His arms around me. I pray the same for you.
I know these words don't mean much to you now. You're grief is too great. But please call on Him, He is there with you....
I have and will continue to pray for you and your family.
Your were blessed with a wonderful love...I pray that your grief will in time be transformed to happy wonderful memories.
All my prayers and love

My deepest sympathies on the loss of our friend, Steve. I will always remember the strides he made to educate people about our reptile friends and animals overall. He will be sorely missed for a very long time to come. At least he passed doing what he loved. If only the rest of us could be so lucky.

The first time I saw the Crocodile Hunter was in my brother's hospital room. He loved watching this show and I have to admit it didn't take long for me to become a real fan too. You could see Steve's love for animals on his face, particularly in his eyes, which many times were filled with tears because of a particular animal's situation. I lost my brother in 2006 and I have some peach now because I can picture in my mind that my brother and Steve are having some great conversations about animals in Heaven. My heart goes out to Steve's family. He was truly loved by many. The world needs many more people like you, but there will never really be anyone quite like you.

My heartfelt condolences to u all
Remeber this one thing.. if Steve could have choosen his own going he would have choosen the way he did.. his love for animals was only topped by his love for u all.
I know he is sitting up there and is driving the others crazy with all his funny antics.
remeber him for what he was and live on with him in your hearts.. i'll bet that was what he would have wanted for u to do.

I was truly ripped when I heard of Steve's passing. He was a true inspiration to us conservationalists and his influence and humour will be sorely missed.
I will never forget hearing Terri say "Now that Steve has a tin full of scorpions, he couldn't be happier".
