What an amazing guy! I never cared for reptiles 10 years ago. I actually would have tried to kill one if it was in my way. Since I started watching Croc Hunter in college six years ago, my outlook has changed. All I want to see at the zoo is reptiles and I know if one crossed my path now I would rather save it than hurt it. Though Steve is no longer with us his message and purpose came to fruition. He has done more in 44 years than most families can do in centuries.
God bless to the family

My heart aches at the thought that Bindi and Bob have to grow up without their father, and that poor Terri will have to explain to Bob later on in his life. It's unfair that such an amazing man died so young. The memorial service was extremely touching, and Bindi was so brave. Her speech was beautiful and had me in tears.
R.I.P Steve, with all your Reptilian mates. You deserve it.

To All the family of Steve: I am so very sorry about what happened to Steve. He was a wonderful man and when we first had DirecTV installed, we could not take the channel off the Animal channel Because of him and his crew. I hope that in time, you will continue with the shows, as I know that Steve would want you & the kids and the rest of his family, to do. No one will ever be able to take his place. We are all in the mourning of the lost of Steve. He was loved by all that watched his shows. God Bless you and all your family!

Farewell Steve... I will always remember thee.
STEVE IS DEAD
I NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS POSSIBLE
I THOUGHT HE WOULD NEVER DIE
I THOUGT HE WAS INVINCIBLE
I GUESS I WAS WRONG
THIS JUST GOES TO PROVE
THAT EVERYONE'S TIME IS LIMITED
AND THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN DO
EXCEPT KEEP THE HOPE
THAT WE WILL SEE OUR LOVED ONES AGAIN
AS WE SPEND ETERNITY IN HEAVEN
WITH OUR FATHER ABOVE
SO MAKE THE BEST OF LIFE
WHILE YOU HAVE IT NOW
AND MAKE SURE YOU TELL
THE ONES THAT YOU LOVE
JUST HOW MUCH THEY MEAN TO YOU
BECAUSE YOU NEVER KNOW
IF IT WILL BE YOUR LAST GOODBYE
This is for you, Crocodile Hunter. We will miss you terribly, but will go on, with the membrance of all you did. You spent your life, trying to make the world a better place, and that is exactly what you did. You were a role modle for those who didn't have one, and for those who did. You changed my life. I just wish I could of had the chance to tell you in person. But I will have to wait untill I get the chance of seeing you in heaven. I will continue to pray for your wife and children. God bless.

My deepest sympathy to Terry for the loss of her soul mate; the Bindi & Bob for the loss of their father and for not having him present as you both grow up; to the "Staff" who have lost their mate and mentor; to those who were closest to him. May his legacy, passion, drive and enthusiam continue to live on throughout the years.
