Steve,
You were truly like part of our family, and a deep part of us will remain in grieving eternal. However, your legacy began long ago, and I have great faith your words, love and passions will continue on now more than ever. You showed so many people how to live and love the creatures we share this earth with, that message shall never be lost. And I thank you personally for the love of wildlife you have instilled in my four children...mostly my 9 year old. Even before preschool she would go in the backyard , eyes wide open for the newest creature she could find and study. She'd look, take pictures, and with my help search the internet for her newest "friend". My children have always since called the animals "beauties", and I am forever grateful for the future generations whom will have more respect and be proud of the world God has given us.
God Bless Terri, his beautiful and strong wife, Bindi, our up and coming follower in her daddy's footsteps (and very pretty little girl in her own right) and Bob, the new Man of the family...though I know Steve will always be there with them, always watching, always proud. We will miss you Steve, rest in beauty and peace, my friend.

To The Irwin family Family:

I am an executive in his 40's who runs a very fast paced and high powered software company. I can't begin to tell you how busy I am running this place and running my life. I am a busy guy who barely has time for anything.

That said, the feeling I have in Steve's passing is...as if the Easter Bunny had died. I will miss Steve dearly. He taught the world more about the value of preserving nature better than anyone else could have or has ever done in the past.

My most sincere sympathies to you.

Steve Irwin was my "icon". I cried and cried when I heard he was killed doing what he soooooo dearly loved doing....being with animals. I want to be just like Steve when I grow up. I always told my mom that I was going to meet him someday. I hope we can save enough money for me to make to Austrailia someday and at least visit his grave. I will see him again someday.....in heaven with all those other animals that he loves still. I am hoping to be able to get a picture autographed by Steve. I will miss him and I hope they keep his show on and show them over and over. He may be gone physically but he will always be in my heart and in my mind and hopefully on my TV. Wes I want to be your right hand man now, HU? Think???? I love you Terri, Bindi, and Bob along with Wes, and Steve's other family and everyone at the zoo.

Dear Terri, Bindi, Bob, Mr. Irwin Sr. and all of the Irwin family and friends -
Sincere condolences to you all on this unexpected and tragic loss. I could not believe it when my friend called me to say that Steve Irwin had been killed, it seemed so surreal, like such news about Steve would never be possible. At first it didn't compute. He was so larger than life, his energy and love for his work and family so exuberant, it is still hard to believe that what happened, happened. Thank you for letting the world share in the Memorial Service, as we too needed this outlet to help us grieve for Steve in our own way. My heart goes out to you, Terri, as I suspect that words cannot ease the ache and pain of this loss for you. I am so very sorry that you and family have to endure it, but know that there are many with you who feel the same way. Bindi did a remarkable job eulogizing her father, of that you can all be most proud. She is an amazing little girl, and would have made Steve so very proud. Steve brough a great gift to this world with his enthusiasm, conservation efforts, teachings, that he will not easily be forgotten. He achieved his goal for look at the outpouring of love and recognition he has received for his conservation efforts. I looked forward to his shows and I thank you for sharing your family with all of us, in the past and at the Memorial Service; I know it must not have been an easy thing for you to do.
To you Terri, Bindi, Bob - may the love that Steve clearly had for you never fade; may you take comfort that you were so loved and cherished by him, and that his spirit will always look out for you. To Mr. Irwin Sr. and the Irwin family, how proud you must be for all that Steve achieved in his brief stay here with us. To John Stainton and Wes Mannion and all of Steve's friends, what an adventure you were able to share with such a remarkable person. May you, in due time, all continue to carry on Steve's work and keep his dream alive in honor of his memory.
I wish you all the best, may you feel God there beside you when the ache becomes too intense, let Him help you carry it to ease your burden.
As you know, Steve was a remarkable human being and the world is a better place for him having been a part of it. His enery surely will still be at Australia Zoo as his work, through you, lives on. God keep you safe, offer you comfort.
With my Deepest Sympathy, Tina.

To Terri,Bendi and BoB,
I do not know if you will ever read this...... There are so many messages. I just wanted to let you know how much I will miss your husband and Father. After watching Bendi give her speech at her dads memorial service, My heart was no longer broken thinking that the Animal planet had lost their best friend. A man with so much compassion and excitment for these animals.... There would never be another. As Bendi talked about her father and her adventures with the animals. I saw Steve standing there in just a smaller version. His spirit and ethusiam is coming through Bendi. I broke into tears watching this child that looks so much like her father, give her heartfelt words for her dad and the animals he loved. The croc hunter is still here. Go Bendi! You continue with your T.V. show and your love for animals. Your dad would have wanted you to continue his work in the education of of the animal planet to our children. Bendi, You are a kid...... Who better to tell our kids about these wonderful animals we share our world with?

To the family, who was left behind after Steve Irwins death.

I was shocked to hear about Steves death as well as the rest of the world. And just wanted to condolence to the family, because Steve meant soo much to them and to the rest of the world.

To Steve's wife: I think it is impressive that you are letting your daughter go in her father's footsteep.

To the daugther and son: Always keep memories about your father in your hearts for the rest of your lives.

Steve Irwin was a great man, and he will always be a great man.

Our prayers go out to you Terri, Bindi & Bob. Steve was such a great person. I am glad you will be able to continue to educate people in regards to animals. I would like to comment on how very grown up Bindi was during the memorial speech that she gave. If it were myself, I do not think I would have had such composure as she did. She takes after her daddy. Love and best wishes to you all. The crocodile hunter will forever be in our hearts and souls....

Dear Terri, Bindi, Bob Famiy & Friends to Steve Irwin,
You cannot imagine how Steve's death has sadden so many of us in the USA!! Not only me as an adult but the many animals lover's and especially the children who have grown up with Steve. I loved Steve's programs, have been watching them for years, loved it when he was on Jay Leno. I have watched all of your programs because he loved animals like I do! He taught everyone to respect each and every animal and how to show respect to all of them. We learned so much from him! Steve was the modern day hero who from my generation was Roy Rogers and Dale Evans. Steve was a geniue, true modern day hero. It is hard to imagine the world without him! I would encourage you to continue his animal education via, TV...PLEASE DON'T STOP AIRING HIS SHOWS, Please, Please never stop!
Think about writing a Steve, Terri, Bindi cartoon cartoon for the cartoon section to educate the children, we must never allow his legacy to die, he meant to much to so many of us. Watching Bindi give a speech at his memorial service, WOW, SHE IS JUST LIKE HIM, very intelligent and charsmatic! What a wonderful & special little girl. She is just like her daddy!
I am known to my friends asthe Croc lady who saves injuried opussums, Squirrels. Blue Jays, birds of all kinds, cats, rescued turtle big and small from the streets, you name it, I will save it! I know how to capture the opussums and injured squirrels because of Steve! When I do rescue them then in cages I have on hand then to the Texas Wildlife (30 miles away) where they treat them, place them back in the wild. PLEASE never stop airing the shows. I will be sending a donation.
Terri, Bindi and Bob, you had the best father in the world, the greatest teacher of all time, most gifted with so much excitment displayed in his eyes, voice and body language. My heart is so sadden for your loss and the worlds loss. He was was and will continue to be so loved!
I pray for you and your famiy and I pray this email was a blessing to you all.
Croc's Rule!!!!!!!
Sincerely,
Best Regards

Being the mother of a 5 year old son I just kept thinking about Terri and how difficult it was going to be for her to be strong for her children. I wish her all the best and I am so very sorry for her loss. Steve Irwin's Lagacy will live on forever in our hearts. Steve was an amazing man.
