I've been greiving since the day Steve left us. It was one of the most shocking moments i've ever lived through so far.
Steve was one amazing man. I'd been watching his shows ever since I was as young as Bindi is now. There are tributes to Steve everywhere and they're hard to view. I was in Australia the month before he passed and he was everywhere. Steve was (and will always be) a hero. Globally and not only in Australia. We'll all miss Steve. Prayers and thoughts go to Bindi, Bob and Terri. I have never seen Terri so devestated, all the Irwin energy is still there, through this time, the energy has changed to strength. We must all stand and be strong for Steve's family.
I love you Steve. You're my hero.

I'm am very saddened by the loss of Mr. Irwin. My heart goes out to his beautiful wife and children along with the people in his life he only knew as his family.Your show amused me since the first time my husband and i watched it 10 years ago as I was bedridden during a part of my pregnancy. Our oldest daughter(9) admires Steve and Terry. Because of your ambitions to teach people around the world about the animal kingdom, both my girls are avid animal lovers. Even the creepy critters that they like to try and sneak into the house.I owe it all to the Irwin family who put passion into showing us a world most of us would be afraid to enter, and most of all to let my daughters know, that even though some animals are dangerous, there is something you can always learn from them. Respect. Thank you.

He was friendly. He was animated. He was passionate about wildlife. He was passionate about teaching all people, but most of all kids, about wildlife and the environment. He taught us the basic qualities that allow us all to not only survive but to to thrive in this world -- respect for all beings -- love -- courage -- and hard work. He deeply cared about the welfare of others and our relationship to the world. He had a wonderful ability to communicate and connect with us all. He shared with us his love for his family. He was a true role model. My deepest condolences.

We are a family who have enjoyed your family on a huge scale. We also feel bonded and extra proud because or our Oregon girl(Terri)who has made such a difference and supported such an incredible man. I truly have never seen such a person with the passion of Steve nor do I think I ever will again (what am I saying, here comes Bindi). My favorite moment is when you were in labor with Bindi and he brought the whole crew right on in just like when he is out with the animals.
It's an amazing thing when you can mourn for a person like a close family member but never have met them. I think of your family everyday and my heart and prayers are with all of you. I have only felt this way with 2 other Personality Icons before, one being Princess Diana. Because of Steve and his love that was larger than life my children have had the experience of the worth of every animal on this earth and what you can do to help them.
From my kids to yours, from Mom to Mum, we send our hearts and love. Thank You for allowing us to be part of your family and dreams!

My heartfelt condolences go out to the Irwin family. My family (husband, daughter-5) were very upset when we heard of Steve's death. My daughter watched him on Animal Planet every chance that she got to. Terri, may God be with you with his loving arms holding you close to him during this time of sorrow. Bindi, you are such a strong little girl (giving that beautiful speech at your fathers' memorial)...your daddy would be very, very proud of you. I think that it is great that you plan to continue his legacy. May God Bless you and protect you always. Little Bob, may you grow up to know that your daddy was a wonderful inspiration to many people in the world and how he has changed the worlds' view when it comes to animals. I pray for you all and know that Steve is proud of you all.
Steve, my daughter has been grieving for her loss of a man that she admired...you! She too has a deep emotional passion for all animals and dreams
to be a vet someday. Thank you for your passion and love for the worlds' animals. We will miss you very, very much. G'Bye Mate

My wife and I pray for Steve as we know he will be blessed in heaven and we ask God that he bless you, Bindi and Bob so that you all can get through this strong and proud and have Steve always by your side. I know what being an environmental activist is all about, the love for the animals is inexplicable and we're just letting Steve know that his reason and goal for the animals will be continued by many people around the world. May God bless you.

As the father of five little boys (ages 6-13) Steve and Terri have been in my household since the beginning of his Discovery years. We are a family of animal lovers and have been designated as the local humane society for unusual animals (birds, reptiles, fuzzy and not so fuzzy creatures). Steve taught me and my family so much and he will be, is already being, missed dearly. My boys and I intend to have fundraising efforts to try to help animals in danger in our area - I can thank Steve and Terri directly for helping to educate and entertain my boys enough to get them interested and KEEP them interested. Thank you Steve, Terri, Bindi, Bob and Bob!

The world has lost a great peacemaker. He brought peace between people and other animals, and peace between people through animals. He deserves the Nobel Peace Prize because he was a ordinary person making extra-ordinary contribution to this world. My condolences to his family and all of the Animal Kingdom (which includes humans).

this is my second online condolence to Terri and her family....thank you for letting us say good bye to Steve through the tv broadcast....my heart aches for you.....as hard as it is right now, it will get easier....I know Steve was your soulmate and it will very hard to go on....but your children are your strength.....to focus on them and thier needs will help you to cope,,they need you...you will be able to raise them by yourself, you will be surprise what you can do when you are faced with such a tragady....I didn't know steve but I am a huge fan and Im having a hard time dealing with his death....the only thing that gives me comfort is knowing that he died what he loved doing....Steves father said not to grieve for Steve, but its hard not too....he would be so proud of Bindi, speaking at his memorial...she is a wonderful young lady...I can see her in tv shows talking about wildlife....just like her daddy....Im glad that we the fans have a chance to express our feelings in these online post messages....it helps, even though Terri will probably never get to read all of them, IM sure there are millions of them....when you become a loved tv personality, people mourn.....by the millions....again thank you for the tv broadcast so those of us from other states could see it....it was a celebration of steves life....take care Terri....raise those children as you and Steve would have together...know that he is with his mother and dog ,sui.....he missed both of them badly, and with the freakish accident that took his life makes me wonder if he missed them so much that he was taken to be with them, even though I think he had more reason to live...but who are we to decide when its our time.......may God give you the strength to heal...... I am a very big fan of the Crocodile Hunter--Steve Irwin and his wife Teri. Their work and obvious love for each other and their family was a huge inspiration to everyone who watched their shows and interviews. May God be with his whole family especially his wife and children during this hard time. His work was and is so important to future generations and he will always be remembered in the hearts of everyone who knew him both personally and through his shows. I hope that people will remember that he passed away doing the very thing he loved most by making a difference in the lives of innocent animals.

Our thoughts are with the Irwin family. I thank Steve and Terri and all those at the Australia Zoo for teaching my children and myself so much about the wildlife we love. We have all learned so much, and still have so much to learn, thanks to Steve. He will be missed forever. Please do not let his work die, it must be continued no matter how difficult. The entire world owes it to Steve to help wildlife however we can.
Crikey, we miss him so much already.......Goodbye Friend

Steve. Your enthusiasm, your passion and kindness made you who you were. You made me extremely proud to be Australian, and I think you made Australia a much better place. You were a one of a kind and could never be replaced. If only you knew what an impact your passing made, not only to Australia but to the whole world.
You will always have a place in my heart, and you will never be forgotten. To me, you were the best man in the world, and no one will ever change that.
