Terry/MRS Irwin.
i REALLY loved the croc hunter. i also beileve in his mission and i honour him. His real and passionate love for animals like me and i will also try to spread his message all the way in South Africa. God bless you and your kids. i hope they now that their dads legacy will live forever and all the videos will always teach and inform the gerantions to come. His happy smile and bubbly personality were very unique. when i heard the news i cried and i feel, and understand were his happiness is comin from cause animals are the globes assets. I REALLY HOPE YOU READ THIS. His memory will live forever and onwards. it is a tragic loss and a freak of nature. But as i say. (i also lost a loved one) the reason God took his life is because he needed anougher angel in heaven, his happiness and every thing about him God appreated and though he would be a VERY valible contribution the way of God. Just think he is in a better place.
God bless and have faith.

Terri,

My prayers go out to you. Being a single mother to tragic loss is very familiar to me. I know you will continue being a good mother, and I pray that you continue on spreading the word and teaching others about all animals. We will all miss Steve.

What terrible, stunning news! I still can't believe the loss. Steve was not only a great conservationist, but in my view, was also one of the very few personalities worth watching on TV! What a great guy! Obviously loaded with dedication for his life's work, Steve had a great skill as a communicator and by way of his exceptionaly unique personality was able to connect with viewers. He was a "one-of-a-kind." No one could ever replace Steve Irwin. I wish his wife, children, family and friends the very best for the future. Steve... we'll definitely miss ya mate!

We were watching CNN, when the news that Steve Irwin was dead. We could not believe the news so we changed the channel to another newscast. We have been fans for many years, we loved that he brought wildlife to us in his enthusiastic and riveting way. He will really be missed, we watched his shows over and over because we enjoyed him so much. Our prayers and condolences go to his Wife Terri and Bindi and Baby Bob, his parents and his friends in the Australia Zoo. Please keep up the good work. To Terri please keep the faith and continue with your husband's great work. Please remember that he will always be in our hearts. God bless you all.

I awoke to the horrible news that Steve Irwin was dead. I really thought that I was dreaming. How could this man who was so full of life be dead? I had watched hinm the night before with the crocs. I feel so sad for the Irwin Family. I know that right now you must be coping with only adrenalin. As this all begins to die down, the effects will truly hit home. Terri, Bindi, Baby Bob, Robert and the Austraila Zoo's family I will pray for all of you that you can continue to carry on such a wonderful person's daily work. As I have said, I am from Louisiana and last year we had 2 horrific Hurricanes tha demolished my friends and families. I was spared this too. I am ready to put this behind me and carry on with whatever I can do to help keep his name and his cause alive. Terri, please keep the faith and Bindi help Baby Bob. GOD Bless all of you...

The world lost a VERY special person with Steve Irwin's passing. I am still numbed by the reality of his death. Though I didn't know him myself, I have watched his specials on many occasions and have always been inspired by his enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for the unique creatures that share our planet. His upbeat & zany personality, his love for all things living, his devotion to his family and his pure commitment to his beliefs not only made him THE most exceptional conservationist of our time - but also it made him one very exceptional human being. While Steve's immediate goal was educating the public with enthusiasm and passion to promote conservation, I believe in watching him he was also successful in teaching others about basic respect, compassion and approaching life with a positive attitude that could be translated in all aspects of living. Obviously, I am an animal lover (with a special fascination for lizards) - but even if I wasn't my sadness at his loss and my level of respect for him would remain the same. I cannot imagine anyone watching him and not be lifted by his spirit. This said, I wanted to take a moment to thank God for blessing us with the opportunity to know Steve in any capacity......I also wish to send my heartfelt sympathies and prayers to those who knew him best and will suffer the loss the greatest- his family and friends. To be sure, there will never be another quite like Steve .....he was one of a kind. He will always be with us however, as our memories of him will never fade.

I was shocked at the news of Steve's death. Although it was almost inevitable that dealing with dangerous animals could lead to his death by one of them, it was something I never thought about much as he was so knowledgable about them. Accidents do happen and I cannot ever imagine the grief that his dear, beloved family is feeling. Words are never enough. Pleas know that the world is grieving with you.

My heart goes out to your family. My worries go to your children. Let us hope the media will stop putting pressure on Bindi, "to follow in her Dads footsteps", and let her grieve in her own time and find her own path. She will make her father proud. To Terri, you are a fine example of a wife and mother. God bless all of you in your time of loss.

I can't even imagine the amount of grief that is felt by Steve's family and close friends. I never met the man, but I always had a great respect and admiration for him and his cause. His death has had a tremendous impact on us. Steve fought for those who could not fight for themselves.

We'll miss you Steve. God bless you and your family.

Steve was a true gentleman, his love of animals, his love for his family, it's so so sad.

Still can not believe he's gone.

I adopted Crocodile Charlie last year, and it would be nice if in memory of Steve for everyone to adopt an animal at his zoo to help his family.

Steve was a great man. I always wanted to meet him, but will have to wait for another opportunity. My prayers are with Terri, Bindi, Baby Bob, Bob, Wes and all of his family and friends. It was too soon for him to go. I will miss him and his love for animals and his family. Nobody could ever replace him. Although, I hope they continue his legacy for many years to come.
May God hold him in the palm of his hand until his family can meet him again. He is now an angel in heaven watching over Terri and the kids and watching over all of the animals. I'll miss you.
