I encourage Steve Irwin fans and mourners to continue using the website and promoting it's cause; to remember Steve Irwin, his work, and dedication.

The Steve Irwin Memorial will be 1 year old on the 5th of September, 2007 and will continue to be an actively used and updated Steve Irwin Memorial and Fansite.

'My Daddy the Crocodile Hunter' will air at 8pm on Animal Planet in the States.

'Bindi the Jungle Girl' will play on Discovery Kids on Saturday at 5pm and again on Sunday at 8pm.

Terri I watched you on Barbara Walters last night and cried with you. The day I found out was a day I choked back tears and had you all in my closest thoughts and prayers. My older sisters children grew up with the Croc Hunter and that is how I started watching. I'll continue watching the reruns and I will continue to keep you all as well as "Steve's cause" in my prayers.

OMG...I am still having trouble getting my head around Steve being gone from our lives forever.It just doesn't seem to be getting any easier. I want him back, God I want him back! My heart goes out to all the Erwin family I can't imagine what it must be like for you, he was larger than life and he lived life in a huge way and I loved that about him. Dear Terri~

I am SO sorry for your loss. Steve was an amazing guy and I wish I could have met him. He seemed like the type of guy, that if you met and he didn't know you, would just give you a big huge hug! My whole family loved Steve and will miss him dearly. When ever I see an animal, especially a Croc, I will think of Steve. Steve will live on and so will what he used to do! Just remember: Steve will be in your heart forever!

I will miss your charisma, your gorgeous smile and your endless quest to preserve animals and their habitats. You have shown all of us the absolute importance of preservation for all wildlife and to live harmoniously with them. God did not let you stay here; for your job is done. We are a much better world because you were here with us. Now we must pay tribute to your memory by treating animals in the same loving way that you did. Not only did we lose a friend, but the animals lost their best friend.

Wow!! Yes I have sent condolences before but after seeing the interview last night on 20/20 and the google site of the Australia interview, I have resurfaced with my grief on still coping with the idea of such a wonderful person having left us.

I pray every day for you, Terri, and the family and friends. I hope some day this world will be able to better cope and serve the memory of Steve. The good Lord gave us all a gift w/ Steve and trust me when I say we all are feeling his loss. Although nowhere near the depth you are, it is still a deep scar for us. Had he known how much he touched the world, he would be amazed.

Thank you for opening your lives to us, and teaching us about the world and the animals we need to love and protect. I will miss the most energetic and loving person I have ever seen on TV. It is selfish, but true.

However if there is something that has been learned besides what all Steve and you set out to do, was it taught me how to love my family better by simple example you guys unknowingly shown. Trivial things didnt exist in your life, and many of us forget that. If my kid got muddy, I may in my mind think "Oh man!! look at that mess" But you know what they are young once and your lighthearted outlook helped me to see the joy of the very moment. Thank you!

Terri, As I watched the 20/20 special last night all I could think was, WHAT A WONDERFUL FAIRYTALE LOVE STORY!!! I knew that Mr. Irwin was a loving person, but after last night I HAD NO IDEA HOW WONDERFUL AND WHAT A CHARISMA ABOUT HIM. You know, I have written ABC hoping that they will show the memorial for Mr. Irwin on regular TV. I am saddened by not only his death, but the fact that since I don't have cable in my home, I WAS NOT ABLE TO WATCH HIS MEMORIAL SERVICE! I have tried to find someone who might have taped it, only to find that no one did. I'M SOOO VERY SAD TO HAVE MISSED SUCH A WONDERFUL TRIBUTE TO SUCH A WONDERFUL AND CHARMING PERSON.
I asked if there was any way at all that ABC could air this memorial on their station for those of us that don't have the luxury of having cable. I feel like I missed such a spiritual, inspirational, and wonderful celebration of such a special person.

I have searched everywhere, even on the Animal Planet website hoping to be able to view this service online, but all I can find are wonderful pictures and short videos of Mr. Irwin, that make me even sadder to know that I missed such a wonderful event.

You know Terri, I hope that maybe ABC will do something so THAT ALL OF US MAY SHARE IN THE LIFE AND CELEBRATION OF THIS WONDERFUL AND LOVING PERSON.

To you Terri, your faith and your wonderful guidance of your children is such an inspiration to me. It made me even sadder last night that Mr. Irwin was taken from you and your family after I saw what a wonderful fairytale love story you had. Mr. Irwin must HAVE BEEN SO CARING, LOVING AND SPECIAL TO ALL OF YOU.

That night that we heard of Mr. Irwin's death, we'd lost our dog "Argos". It was late at night around 11:30 p.m. and we were looking anxiously for Argos, couldn't find him anywhere. Then my future daughter-in-law said, "I wish I had Steve Irwin here with us so he could find him for us." We all started crying.

Terri, I WILL PRAY THAT YOU WILL HAVE FUN AGAIN! BUT I AM VERY CONFIDENT THAT YOU WILL BECAUSE YOU ARE A WILDLIFE WARRIOR AND HAVE SUCH A SPIRITUAL LIFE WITHIN YOU. I MUST SAY, LAST NIGHT EVERY TIME YOU SPOKE I FELT A SPECIAL TINKLING IN MY BODY AND SOUL, TELLING ME GOD IS WITH YOU. MR. IRWIN IS SOOO PROUD OF YOU, BINDI, AND ROBERT!!!! WITH MUCH LOVE, PEGGY!

After watching your interview on 20/20 I felt such profound sadness for you, but faith and hope were also there. I was reminded of a song that James Taylor co-wrote. It expresses the sadness, dispair, faith, and hope that I feel for you and our animal kingdom.

I'm so sorry for your loss, the best comfort I can offer you is from God's Word, it is where I have found the "Peace that passes all understanding". I hope these verses bring you and your family the same. We will be with Jesus after we die.
If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection (Romans 6:5).

Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14).

After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever (1 Thessalonians 4:17).
Jesus came to set us free from the fear of death.
Since the children have flesh and blood, he too shared in their humanity so that by his death he might destroy him who holds the power of death—that is, the devil—and free those who all their lives were held in slavery by their fear of death (Hebrews 2:14-15).

Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?" (John 11:25-26).

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints (Psalm 116:15).
It will be unimaginably wonderful in heaven.
Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing (2 Timothy 4:8).

So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body (1 Corinthians 15:42-44).

"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him"—but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit (1 Corinthians 2:9-10).
There will be no sorrow or tears in heaven.
He will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign LORD will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The LORD has spoken (Isaiah 25:8).

For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes (Revelation 7:17).

God sometimes takes the righteous away to be spared from evil.
The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death (Isaiah 57:1-2).
Do not fear suffering before you die.
God will not give you more than you can handle. He will be with you to strengthen you and will walk with you.
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed (Romans 8:18-19).

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18).

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade—kept in heaven for you, who through faith are shielded by God's power until the coming of the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time. In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials (1 Peter 1:3-6).

They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death (Revelation 12:11).
Don't fear that you will be a burden to others.
It's normal to worry about "being a burden" to others. But the Bible says we are all connected to one another (Romans 12:4-8 and 1 Corinthians 12:12-27). God expects us to care for one another. Although it sometimes can be a burden, caring for others also can be a blessing, for it is as we give of ourselves that we become more like Christ.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28).
Don't fear for those you will leave behind.
If you die before your spouse, children, parents or other significant people in your life, they likely will miss you greatly. If you die when your spouse or children still are living with you, they will miss your love, support and care. Yet God loves them much more than you do. Be sure to write a will and provide as best you can for the future, and then put yourself and your family in God's hands. There's no need to worry. If you die first, God will still be with them! Remember, he loves them much more than you do!
But you, O God, do see trouble and grief; you consider it to take it in hand. The victim commits himself to you; you are the helper of the fatherless (Psalm 10:14).

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling (Psalm 68:5).

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things (Philippians 4:6-8).

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you (1 Peter 5:7)
Don't fear death. Look forward to being with Jesus!
Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies (Romans 8:23).

Now we know that if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal house in heaven, not built by human hands. Meanwhile we groan, longing to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling (2 Corinthians 5:1-2).

For while we are in this tent, we groan and are burdened, because we do not wish to be unclothed but to be clothed with our heavenly dwelling, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life (2 Corinthians 5:4).

We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:8).

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ (Philippians 3:20).
God wants you to make a difference while you are here on earth. He wants you to touch the world for Christ.
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do (Ephesians 2:10).

For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; but it is more necessary for you that I remain in the body. Convinced of this, I know that I will remain, and I will continue with all of you for your progress and joy in the faith (Philippians 1:21-25).

If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord (Romans 14:8).

I remember watching Steve's and Terri's first show. My husband and I just loved it. We would rush home from work when their show was on to see what steve was up too. He made us laugh and cry...I learned so much from him. Even now I can hear his voice when I see any type of reptile or animal. I never got a chance to meet Steve, but somehow I feel that he will always be a part of me. My thoughts and prayers go to his family,friends and the millions of people out in the world that loved him.

i have been watching steve on tv since his shows since it was showing here in south africa. my family and i are very shocked and sad that a wonderful person like steve had to pass away. he will be sadly missed but his wonderful personality lives on. our hearts goes out to terry and the children. terry, you have to be strong for your children, they look up to you, they need you & they love you. we all love you.

We are all very sorry! We watched and impersonated Steve often. We love animals and often I (mom) stop to save or take animals off the road. I had an idea to try and put something to signal to the animals on the cars so they won't get killed or injured. I want to name the invention after Steve, because he would want people to have gotten something from his life and do something with it to show how animals are important. Please accept my sincere thoughts and prayers. We love you, Steve and know that you are one of the fiercest angels in both worlds!! God bless you, Terri and your children. My mom died when I was four and now at 38, I am so very close to her. So, know that he is always listening and with you and your children, helping you more than you know. Sincerely,
