I am deeply saddened by Steve's death. I know he thought of himself as an ordinary bloke, but he was a hero to many children, and to all the animals in the world. My four children feel like they lost a friend.

Such a wonderful family to carry on. Steve, I think I have cried for your family everyday since your death. We all know you are in a better place with your mum and pup. You will be remembered as the wildlife worrior, loved and never forgotten by the world. I was so glad to hear your dad say that he would be there to help Terri guide Bindi and Little Bob. God Bless you all at Australia Zoo and don't ever stop the work you do. Thanks, Echo

It's been over a week since Steve's passing, and I am still deeply saddened by the loss of Steve Irwin. My husband and I have four children 10 and under. Steve has become our favorite wildlife warrior. We can't think of one person who emitted such energy, excitement and passion for God's creatures. He was a pleasure to watch and learn from.
We pray for Steve's family. May God comfort them, heal their hearts and give them great peace. I have been so blessed to see all the wonderful photos of Steve's family. He truly held his family closest to his heart. His legacy shall live on and we will look forward to getting to know Bindi and Bob as they grow up and continue their dad's mission for preserving wildlife.
God Bless,

So many people from all over the world are pulling together in their time of grief to come to the assistance of each other. It is truly amazing!!
This just proves all the more to me, the impact Steve Irwin made upon our lives. His mission was to save wildlife around the world by getting people to start loving animals. Even though many have never met him, his exuberant demeanor charmed the world; they felt as if they did indeed know him and genuinely grieve for his passing. He was personable as well as passionate.
The love and respect that Steve showed for his family, as well as his dedication to conservation is most admirable, and gives us all something to aspire to. Donations continue to pour in from all over the world into his Conservation and Wildlife Preservation projects. Many, like me, have vowed in addition to the monetary donations, that we are going to take an active part in our local Conservation and Wildlife Preservation projects. Steve's spirit, passion and enthusiasm will live on into the very far future, for he has created a fierce band of "Wildlife Warriors Worldwide" to carry his legacy onward. Steve by “Crickey” you have made us better people for who you were and what you stood for. “Good on Ya Mate!!”
Terri, Bindi, Young Bob, Steve's Father Bob, John and Wes...we love ya Mates and our hearts and sincerest condolences to you all. Time will heal your tears and heartache, but know that he loved you all so dearly and his memory will carry you all through these very difficult times. Now and in the future.
All my love and prayers;

You left the world a better place for having been in it. Not only did you draw the world's focus to conservation, but you taught a generation of people, both young and old, that the fusion of one's natural abilities with passion and the desire to serve others is the greatest legacy one can leave behind. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the many lessons. Love and peace to your beautiful family.
