Bindi, I am very sorry about your dad! I really loved watching Steve in everything he did. Your dad has taught my brother and me a lot about wildlife that we might have not ever learned! Steve was our hero

I pray that God is with all of you at this most difficult time. While death is painful to all of us left behind, I believe that only the good die young and good was Steve's middle name. RIP Steve Irwin

I still can't believe such a vibrant spirit is gone! I feel the same way about Steve's death as I did about Princess Diana when she died. Just can't believe it. He will be sorely missed.

To Terri, Bindi, Bob and Mr. Irwin, May God comfort you in this time of sadness and loss. I hope in my heart you will keep up his wonderful work. He seemed like a family member to me because he was such a joy to watch. I saw a man on television who was honest, down to earth, and a great, proud, husband and father and son. Peace be with you, and thank you for letting us love him also.

I used to watch Steve's show religiously with my brother back when it all started for the Croc Hunter. We always kept updated on what he was doing, and how his family was. I grew up with a love for animals thanks to my mother and steve irwin. When I recieved the news I burst into tears. I could not believe it, but like my mother says "In life nothing happens without a purpose, something good will come out of it!" We love you Steve Irwin! My condolences go out to his family!

I just want to send out my deepest sympathy to Terry, Bindi, little Bob, Bob, Wes & the rest of Steve's family & friends. His death was a HUGE loss to conservation & the world. He was a major influence on me, he is the reason I have changed my outlook on animals like alligators & crocodiles. I will always remember him & I will tell my kids the things he did & show him whatever I can about him. Again my deepest condolences.

I just want to tell his family that there's a hope to see him again. All you have do is turn to the scriptures for that comfort. God can comfort better than anything we can say. I'm for the lost and I hope you keep him living in your hearts.

The loss of such a person as Steve Irwin has affected my whole family very deeply. He was more than larger than life, he was infectious. He lived more in 44 years than most who reached 100. He & Terry's work have been such a wonderful learning guide for not only my boys (who are the same ages as Bindie & Robert) but my Husband & I as well. Steve could make you feel like he was literally coming out of the televison. NO ONE has ever been able to grab people in that way. I find myself waking up everyday since this has happened thinking of Terry. As I wake I think this actually happened it wasn't a bad dream and I know in my heart Terry wakes up feeling that. Cause I would if it were my husband and I do because of the joy he has brought my family. To the Irwins you are in are hearts.

Dear Steve,
I still cannot believe that you have left us. The news came as such a shock to the world and it is too sudden and too painful for all who love you. My heart aches each time I think of you, like now, as I write this message. May you rest in peace... You are a wonderful, kind and gentle soul, a true legend who will live forever in our hearts... I respect you deeply for your bravery and thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have brought us hours and hours of joy in front of the TV and most importantly, you have made so much sacrifices and even risked your life on numerous occasions just to educate the world about wildlife. Without you, the animal world as well as the human world will never be the same again. I pray that Terri, Bindi Sue and Bob Clarence as well as everyone who loves you will find the strength to carry on. As you must already know by now, your family is loved as much as we love you. I look forward to meeting your family at the Australia Zoo in the very near future. I am sure they will carry on with your missions and purpose in life and do you proud, just as you have done them proud through the years. We love you and will miss you dearly, always.
Goodbye, Steve. Rest In Peace, Mate.

My prayers are with the family. Just remember God has a plan for us all the day we are born. He knows the time and place in which He will take us HOME to be with Him. There are always reasons why God does things and we cannot see them at the time because it is so hard when we are grieving. But always remember God is there and will give the courage to go on. You will all see Steve again. Keep God in your hearts.

If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
A Croc would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No on will ever know
But know we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store
Since you’ll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you’ll always stay

And when I'm gone, just carry on,
Don't mourn,rejoice,
Every time you hear the sound of my voice,
Just know that I'm looking down on you smiling,
And I didn't feel a thing,
So don't feel my pain
Just smile back.
To Terri,Bindi,Robert,Steve's father and the entire Australia Zoo family.

There are no words to describe how sad I feel about Steve's death. His enthusiasm for reptiles and all of gods creatures was unrivalled. I love reptiles and keep snakes myself. Steve inspired me, and his programs only furthered my aspirations of helping conserve these beautiful animals.
