I cannot explain how shocked I am by this. I loved to watch Steve on tv with my girls. He was amazing!! I would have loved to have met him. I was asleep when I heard of the sad news. My husband left CNN on the tv in our bedroom that morning and I heard it and woke right up. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. I came to the computer and searched STEVE IRWIN'S Death. Nothing came up. So I went to CNN.com and there it was. I just cried and cried. My thoughts and prayers are with the Irwin Family now. I am so very sorry for your untimely loss. He was a great man. AMAZING! You all are truly very lucky to have had him in your life. As we all are to have been able to watch him all these years. May you rest in peace, Steve. We Love You!!!

I posted a few days ago but felt I didnt put as much in as I could've. I just want to share my condolences with Steves faimly and friends. I know Bindi and Bob share his passion for animals and I know they will grow up and carry on their dads lifes work and continue to inspire us just as their dad did. Bindi and Bob had to have been the luckiest kids alive to have had a dad like Steve. He touched the lives of so many people he never even met, can you imagine how he inspired the lives of his own children? Extraordinary. He was an amazing person and he will missed by so many. I didn't think I could love and appreicate Australia Zoo any more than I already did - until now. I am hoping to go to the public memorial service held for Steve at Australia Zoo, as many others are as well. I feel the public need some kind of closure for this great Australian larrakin just as his family did. I am moved by how many tributes have been played on tv, the interent and published in magazines. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family - especially Terri,Bindi and Bob. We love you Steve. XO

Never has any one celebrity touched me so deeply as Steve. My thoughts drift to him and his family every day and I still cry. He had such a big heart and I know he touched millions. He was taken from this world too soon but God must have had a special job for him in heaven. He is with his mum now and she will look after him. I don't know how Terri and the kids can go on each day. My thoughts and prayers are with them. I think Bindi will be strong and help her mom through just like she helped Steve through his mum's death. She is such a little trooper. She is so much like her daddy. I am thousands of miles away and am having a hard time coping right now and I have never felt this way over a person that I never met.
Rest in Peace Steve you will never know how many people loved you.

Steve was my Television hero. You won´t find a tougher guy on this planet. Ive watched Steve mowing Monty´s lawn, getting bitten on the nose by a small lizard, diving into nuomerous rivers to snatch a crocdile. While doing this he´s teaching the rest of us everything about animals and their natural habitat.
I have never seen a person loving his job as much as Steve.
Massive respect to Steve Irwin and may your soul rest in peace.
My deepest condolences to his wife, children and relatives.

Mahatma Gandhi spent the last moments of life praying for his murderer, and the last words that escaped his lips were a request to forgive his murderer. If Steve had got the chance, he would have said the same. This is not the time the time to turn our anger and despair towards nature because by doing so we destroy the lagecy Steve left for the world. A legacy I first came across in my early childhood where I used to watch Animal Planet for hours and hours, and Steve was my big hero. A legacy everyone should carry in their hearts in good times as well as bad. I will always remember it, as I will always remember the man who sired it.
Rest in peace Steve, we will never forget you

Here's something I wrote in memore of a GREAT MATE to the world
Steve
By Mildred Quinones
You came into the world with a goal:
To show everyone the side of the
animal world no one dare to go to.
Risking your life to prove to us that even
the most deadliest animals has their gentle side.
You make us feel the love and
understanding you have for the animal world.
Your smile opened our eyes to see the animals in a new light.
Your attitude taught us to respect the animals
as they needed to be respected.
YOU made the world open to learn about
a world we only read about in books.
Your wife, Terri, is the other half of your soul and your children are the Legacy to the passion
you have for the animal world.
How you left us was one in a million…
You as a person…One in a billion.
You made the world a better place…
and we’ll miss you dearly for leaving it.

To all of Steves fans,
Everyone knows what kind of man Steve was and the things he taught all of us about animals we only thought we knew. I am thankful for the lessons I learned from watching his show, and I will pass on his teachings to my children and therefor he will live on. I know all the fans of Croc Files can keep his memory alive by passing on his teachings and respecting the animals he loved so very much...... To Steve your alright mate..no worries

To Terry and the kids...
Steve was such a great man, such an incredible humanitarian, we were all lucky to have had him this long with the incredible courage he had with his encounters with the wildest of wild animals. He will be watching over you as we all will. It would be impossible for any of us who loved watching him at work to be any less caring of you and the kids now that he is gone from here. What a great warrior of the animals he was...one of God's most cherished warriors. Bless you Steve in your journey beyond and if you can reach out from beyond and comfort your beloved Terry, Bindi and Bob...then do so...
Love and Peace.
