Steve was one of a kind. He made me respect the animals and the habitats that they live in. There were many times he cheered me up watching his show. I think he lifted a lot of people's spirits, not only for the animals, but for themselves. I give my love to his family and I pray that they will move on and continue to fight the battle that Steve started so many years ago. I will miss you Steve, Thanks for making me laugh and enjoy nature at the same time.

Dear Irwin Family,
Our love and prayers have been with you during this difficult time. We were so blessed to have your family as part of our daily lives on Animal Planet. I knew telling my boy's, Avery, 6 and Asher, 5 of Steves death would be very hard. They mourned and cried for days and kept vigil by the television as Animal Planet did such a wonder job celebrating Steve's life and work. You have all been a part of our family; teaching us, educating us, showing us beautiful places around the world, and my very favorite, sharing with us the birth of your beautiful daughter, Bindi Sue. My children have a love and understanding for wildlife that the Crocodile Hunter has instilled within them. Thank you again for sharing your lives with us, may your hearts and souls find peace.
All our love and support,
The Rudd family

I loved as my husband watching "The Crocodile" hunter on the animal plantet show. I was extremely afraid of snakes and all I wanted was for them to die,but Steve made me see it diffently. I now realize that these creatures were created and we are more of a threat to them then them to us. My prayers are with his wife Terri and his children and I will continue to pray for strength for them. We have truly lost a Hero in my book. God Bless, Your friends Jill and Tom Ingebetson.

Terri, Bindi, Bob and little Bob:
You know there are millions of arms holding you, and your family and friends at this time, and for a long time to come. No words will ever ease the loss that you, and the world, have suffered. All we can do is march on down the path on which Steve was trying to set us. The void will always be there, but with time the edges will erode until they are no longer knife-sharp.
Steve had the greatest fortune of being loved by the entire world. This love carries over to his family: not because he was a television star, but because of what he was; himself. He will be missed by this world-wide family, and we can only hope to try to life up to his expectations.
Our love, and condolences.
