To the Irwin Family,
Our deepest sympathy.
Our hearts go out to you.
He will be sadly missed, not only by Australia but by many countries.
Steve was one of a kind. If only there were more Steve Irwin's in this world, this planet would be such a better place to live in. He was such an inspiration to us personally and we will dearly miss him as he brought great joy to our loungerooms.
Steve you were unique, One of a kind and will be sadly missed.
CRIKEY MAY YOU REST IN PEACE MATE.
And to all of you out there who criticise who he was and the things he did such as Germaine Greer and the likes of her, You should take a leaf out of Steve's book and you might actually learn something to actually help this planet and not just make money out of it. And instead of wasting time making up this CRAP about great people like Steve why dont you get off your butts and help the wildlife and everything Steve lived for and then you wouldn't have so much time to criticise people like Steve, who to us was a national HERO to wildlife, and such a beautiful and devoted family man.
YOU WERE THE GREATEST STEVE NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN.

Steve, Terri, Bindi and Bob you are in my thoughts and prayers. Steve and Terri, your work on television inspired my little boy to rescue and rehabilitate injured animals. Five years later and about 35 animals later too, I have a happy, healthy, 15 year old son whose respect and love for wildlife and preservation of this planet is paramount. Thanks. We will SOON know how BIG Steve's influence has been as this first generation of teens raised on the Crocodile Hunter heads to college. A proud Mom thanks you!!! May God Bless You All...

My deepest sympathy to Steve's family and friends. I cannot believe he is gone. I saw the marathon today that Animal Planet had on and it is so unreal that Steve Irwin is not with us anymore. We will miss him so much - we owe it to him to carry on and save all animals that we can!

Some people live a long life and share their dreams quitely, knowing that they have a long time to share with us. Some people are born like a shooting star and have only a limited time to share the wonders of the world with us. I think that Steve was like that. The Lord gave him to us for only a short time in this world. Like the shooting star he was bright, fast, fearless, and dedicated to those things that he loved. I know that his family will have a hard time letting go, but at these times we must lay our burdens down at the foot of the cross. The Lord will never put more on you than you can bear, and he will carry the family thru this time of sorrow. My heart felt sorrow is with Terry and her children, as well as Steve's dad. My they find peace with the Lord, for Steve is now in a place where only happiness and love are present. We will see him again.
My deepest condolances to you all.

I never thought Steve Irwin had had so much impact on my life until the day I heard that he had died. I'm having a great deal of trouble dealing with it and cannot even imagine how his close friends and family are feeling when I feel so sad. I can only hope that by doing my small part caring for my animals and spreading the message of the importance of conservation to others, that I may help to carry on what he started. To his family, friends and all who were close to him, I express my deepest sympathy and condolences. He truly was one of a kind and will never be forgotten.

I too was saddened at the sudden and tragic death of Steve Irwin. He was a great family man; full of heart and osul for his wife; children and the environment. What a testimony for living your life fully with commitment. A good example to all of us. God Bless him and his family.

I'm very sorry for the loss of Steve Irwin. I looked up to him like he was part of my very own family. I wouldn't know as much as I do now about animals if it weren't for that man. Everyone in my family was is disbelief to his death. I have been watching his documentaries since the wedding of him and Terri. He was not a real private man as his family said. He brought EVERYONE into his world, his life, his family, from his wedding to Bindi and ROberts birth to his mothers death. He actually felt for the animals, more than anyone else would. He cried for the ones who had a horrible death, and for a continuing of a species birth. He helped the animal kingdom alot....Although I hope that Bindi continues on the family tradition with helping all....

Thank you Steve for bringing me hours of entertainment and knowledge with your show. Your high energy came through the screen and I always felt the better for having viewed your program. You brought Great Spirits animals to those of us that will not be able to get up close and personal. Having lost a husband myself at a young age, my heart goes out to his wife and children. My children miss their Dad very much and it is a great loss to the children. I know it is little comfort now but his image on film will keep his memory alive to his children. My heart goes out to his entire family, friends, and close associates. Thanks for the memories.

We are deeply sadded by the lost of a great man, our thorghts go out to his family and friends at this time. He has brought a smile to our face many times with his humour at times when he is facing these dangerous animals. we used to be scared of these sometimes ugly scary animals, but through steves work have found a new appreciation for these great creatures. He will be deeply missed, but his memorie will live on in his hundreds of hours of film.

My deepest condolences goes out to the Terri and all his family, as well as the staff that worked with Steve. We can not forget his wild animal friends as well.
I watch Steve faitfully for many years and knows how he feels about protecting animals.
I too shar the same love for animals. I went to school to be a park ranger and a game warden,, and then to be a dog groomer.
I saw him on Ophra here a few yrs back and said to my then 7 yr old son, I love that man, he said to me, " then way don't you marry him". I could not help but laugh,, and I told him, "well I married and he is married",, he then said "well what about his brother",, I laugh again and told him, "he has no brothers".
When ever I would watch any of Steve's program he gave me so much energy, just from the energy he had and expressed so much.
I will miss him so much as well as eveyone who admired him
It is hard fo me to watch his shows now but have to remeber the love and education he has giving us all on wildlife,, that will never die.
I know the animals at the zoo can also sense that their dear friend is so long with them,, they too are moraning. You could not have picked a better to place for him to rest.
With my deeepest sympathy
