i am sorry for your loss, and i hope his soul finds peace, but at least he died doing what he loved, im sure he would have chosen to die doing what he loved rather than any other way

The world lost Princess Diana, and now Steve Irwin. Such a tragedy!!! I will never forget how much he taught me about wildlife from other parts of the world. He was a legend in his own time, and a legend now forever to the world. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Those of you at Australia Zoo will proudly carry on his legacy.
It is with a heavy heart and we say good-bye to one of the kindest and gentlest men on earth.

I was chocked when I saw the frontpage of the Newspaper. After all the programs I've seen with Steve, I begon thinking that this man was immortal. The only comfort I can find is that he died doing the thing he loved. I want to send my condolences to Steve's wife and kids. You must go through such a tough time right now, and I really feel you pain.

Dear Steve
I hope you look down upon us from your new home in heaven. As always, when people pass away far too early, there are many things, one wishes to have said while these people were still alive.
A lot of people speak for the animals of our planet, but no one does it with the enthusiasm and with the spirit, that you did.
I,ll miss the honesty, the happiness and the love you always managed to communicate in your programs. I'll miss the big joyful boy, the serious fighter and the braveness. You ARE an inspiration.
All my sincere love to Terri, Bindi and Bob. If there is anything you need from friends in Denmark, just write to ck@mezzoforte.dk
My condolances

I was rather shocked when I heard the bad news about Steve's death. A rush of sadness soon overcame me. I learned a lot from his shows. I enjoyed all his adventures and I appreciate all that i've learned from him. I will truly miss his shows and his adventures. There is no one else out there like Steve. He was a true warrior and a true legend. He will always be in my memories.

Steve was a global family member. A brother of the world who ment so much not only animal life, but countless human lives too. I've had deaths in the family before, but this struck my heart on a whole new level. I grew up watching him on t.v., and feeling his excitement and enthusiasm for wildlife conservation. As children we emulated him when we played together. Though an icon across the globe, he was more importantly a father and husband. Monday night I cried myself to sleep thinking about how such a seemingly indistructable man could be struck down and his beloved family deprived of him. My deepest and most heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and to the people across the world who Steve had brought so many smiles.
I'll miss you Steve.

My heart sank when I heard the dreadful news, I still cannot get over it - he still is my hero and I am his number 1 fan. My condolences to his wife and his children he touched so many hearts and made people realise that conservation is extremely important. I always thought that he was invincible, my family and I cried over the crocodile hunter programmes that have been on animal planet over this past week. Steve will be looking down on his children - he will still watch them grow up, he is in his Mother's and God's company now. God bless you Steve Irwin, you have made us realise that we should cherish our earth and its inhabitants. May you rest in peace.

Steve, last Monday when I heard the news I was absolutely devastated. I began to watch you when I was divorced and grew to know you, Terri, and then latterly Bindi and Bob and Sui. Through the dark days you really cheered me up, and made me feel like I had a family, we shared so much with you, you were like a brother figure to me. Every adventure Terri and you went on we were there right with you, you shot some amazing footage and your love of animals was so apparent, you were the most kindest, gentlest person with them, you had a rapport and your own unique style, your own magic. That kindness and gentleness touched something within me that I cannot explain, it's as if you have been sent to make us aware of the planet around us and that you did so well. I don't know whether there is a God but whatever is beyond this life and I am sure there is an afterlife, must have decided your mission on this earthly plane was completed and it was time to move on to pastures anew. There will definitely be a new star in the skies from now until eternity. Take care Steve wherever your beautiful spirit is, and I hope that all of the people you touched in some way through your programmes including myself will all meet up someplace when our missions on this life are over. I also want to give Terri and Bindi, Bob and your Dad Robert a big hug and to say please know that Steve was a fantastic guy look at all the people who love him, you all must be so proud of him. Please take comfort in the fact that we are all hurting with you and we all want you to know how much we love you all. Take care, love, Amanda xxxxx

The news of Steve Irwins death came as a big chock to me...and what more...my reaction to it. I feel grief over a man i didn´t know. But his work has been an inspiration to many people. He was a very enthusiastic person with zest for life. He was dedicated to help the animals, he was their voice... and he made a difference. The world has lost a great man. May you rest in peace.

I have seen you both many times on tv. And I must say that every time I get impressed. It is amacing what you do to put focus on the animals.
I cant say many times enough that I feel sorry for you, you lost your husbond and the kids their belowed daddy. But hang on - your keds needs you. Steve got the life he wanted, and he did not end up as a man without no meaning in the life....
Good luck to all of you.

Being animal lovers ourselves, we were devestated when we heard the news of Steves death. We have watched Steve for years and we have watched all of the Memorial Programs on Animal Planet this past week. Steve was a wonderful person who to me was vary passionate towards his love for animals. He will truly be missed, but what he has started will live on for ever. I hope to see and look forward to watching Terri, Bindi and Bob in the future carry on Steve's legacy.

Your memory stays on
While you are long gone
A typical down to earth hero
As you look from up to down below
Stories of you will continue to grow and flow
Your memory stays on
They will remember you for your ups and downs
They will remember you for all the moments
You played a part and were around
Your memory stays on
You were a simple exceptional man
Making mistakes like any human
Your peak was when you took charge of all the crock
The stingray was your final call
Your memory stays on and will never run
Your achievement will always somehow return
We will miss you with each and every rising sun
Love ya Steve..
Warm regards to Terri, Bindi and Bob

Steve has been an inspiration to so many. Here's one of my poems in memory of a great man. You are in my prayers....
DON'T WEEP FOR ME
Don't weep for me, when I leave this life behind.
Be strong in your faith, and keep precious memories in mind.
Don't weep for me, fearing that I am lost.
Jesus promised me a home, no matter what the cost.
Don't weep for me with those tears full of sorrow.
Only trusting in God will get you through tomorrow.
Don't weep for me, for my life is not done.
My peaceful journey in Heaven, has only just begun.
